Day 16

7/23/12 - Well, this is it...Daddy's last day before going back to work.  Today, Jasper had his two week check up and, just as expected, he's perfect!!  He gained 8 oz. since he was born, weighing in at 8 lbs. 9 oz., so we know he's getting enough to eat.  It was an extra special day because Mommy's good friend Meredith came to visit little Jasper!!!  Meredith flew in from Houston today and made sure she canceled all of her appointments just to spend time with the Rivas family...we feel so special!!!  Mere also got to hold a newborn for the first time.  And tomorrow, with Daddy at work and Jude at school, it's just Mommy and Jasper at home!
